This snack shop is on the Warren and Detroit border by Groesbeck Hwy and 8 Mile Road. I never heard of this place until I had to pick up a package at the UPS Customer Center nearby. I decided to stop by and was blown away by how huge this store is. There is every snack available including Little Debbie, Hershey, Slim Jim, Better Made Potato Chips, popcorn, and hundreds of other types of candy. It also has party supplies, seasoning, frozen food, bread, and dairy products in the fridge aisle. I was most excited about seeing Little Debbie Peanut Butter Creme Pies (only 2 for $3) and Zapp's Potato Chips from Louisiana. It is hard to find these potato chips in Michigan and I've only found individual bags at the Dollar Tree. As for the Little Debbie Peanut Butter Creme Pies, these are also hard to find at most grocery stores. I have a friend in South Korea who loves these peanut butter creme pies. I brought a box back to Korea for her and years later she still tells me how much she loved them. Now I know where to get a big pack to bring with me on my next trip to South Korea. There is not a lot in this mostly industrial district but if you find yourself in the area it's worth stopping by.
Have you ever walked into a store and been in awe with not just the products but the prices? This store is so much more than just a candy shop! They have endless choices of candy and chips and snacks. Snack Depot has their items all in bulk too, so if you wanted to set up your own candy table you could do just that. To top it all off, the owner is so friendly as are all the employees. Cheap prices, awesome variety, clean and amazing staff. What more can you ask for?
